July 13, 2021 – Wrightsville Beach, NC – Pivot Parking is supporting Flowbird in their refunds to consumers after the parking pay station manufacturer acknowledged a glitch in their software update released on July 1. “As soon as Pivot Parking employees were alerted to the issue, we immediately closed each pay station in Wrightsville Beach,” said Scott Diggs, Pivot Parking President & CEO and resident of Wrightsville Beach.“We then contacted Flowbird who began a fix for the software problem.” Diggs then added, “The security and trust of our customers is of the utmost priority for our company. While no customer information has been compromised, we’ve been assured that this problem will not happen again. As a resident of Wrightsville Beach, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our residents and visitors.”
